Stearic Acid
1. Character:
It is white powdered crystal, odorless; soluble in ether, chloroform, carbon bisulphide and carbon tetrachloride and hot alcohol; insoluble in water. Specific weight: 0.85Ee at 60°C
2. Usage:
It is mainly used in vanishing cream and cold cream etc.
3. Package and Shelf life:
In PP bag lined with plastic bag, net wt. 25kg or 50kg/bag. Avoid solarization, rain or heating; handle with care. Useful life is 1 yr.
